Alysson Hautsch Oikawa
Master of Laws (Master of Laws, LL.M.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, in 2003. Graduated in Law from the Federal University of Paraná, in 2001, and in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, in 2000. Admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (Paraná Section) in 2002.
In 2012 he took over the coordination of the office's Intellectual Property Center. Before joining the Baril Advogados Associados team, he worked as a senior associate in another large firm, where he stood out for serving national and foreign clients.
Since 2003, he has provided legal advice in the area of intellectual property, with extensive experience in copyright, trademarks, patents, industrial designs, unfair competition, image rights and other personality rights, entertainment law, and communication and internet law.
He is a professor of Postgraduate Courses at FAE Business School, UNICURITIBA, PUCPR, and ISAE / FGV - Higher Institute of Administration and Economics of Mercosur, with several published articles.
Member of the Intellectual Property Commission of OAB-PR. Member of the Designs Committee of the International Trademark Association - INTA. Member of the Brazilian Industrial Property Association - ABPI.
Named in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as one of the “Most Admired Lawyers in Brazil” in the area of Intellectual Property by the publication “Análise Advocacia 500”, including a first state ranking in 2018.
Nominated in 2019 and 2020 by the international yearbook “Who´s Who Legal”, as a Brazilian reference in the Patents specialty.
Indicated in 2020 by the international yearbook “World Trademark Review 1000”, among the main professionals in the Brands area.
